RONALDO SCORES HAT-TRICK IN PORTUGAL WORLD CUP OPENER
Christian Ronaldo hat-trick gave portugal an awesome 3-3 draw in their opener against the Spainish.
The Captain had given Portugal a fourth-minute lead from the penalty spot after he was fouled by Madrid team-mate Nacho, restoring the lead thanks to spain's goalkeeper David de Gea’s horrible mistake. Ronaldo had given Portugal the lead with first-half goals, but the spanish player, Diego costa equalized with a goal in each half.
Nacho Fernandez then put the spanish in the lead with a hit from a wonderful 25-yard drive, with three minutes to go
Ronaldo had other ideas still and stepped up to beat De Gea again with a perfect 20-yard free-kick, almost snatching all three points with a stoppage-time header.
