It’s Not Easy To Say Goodbye To Arsenal FC - Wenger

Arsene Wenger admits that his long farewell from Arsenal has been a bittersweet experience, as he prepares to finally say farewell to Sunday.

Frenchman will be in charge of Arsenal for the last time, as his 22-year reign ends with the Gunners' Premier League fight at Huddersfield this weekend.

The 68-year-old has been on a farewell tour, as Arsenal announced on April 20 that he had agreed to make trucks with the North London club after another complicated season.

Wenger tried to stay focused on football, but he acknowledged that it was not always easy in the middle of all the nostalgia unleashed by his imminent game.

"I have enjoyed some aspects of that, yes, and not all," Wenger said during his preliminary press conference at the Arsenal training base on Thursday.

While Arsenal insisted that Wenger's departure was in mutual funds, Gunners' boss left some indications that he would have preferred to keep during the last year of his contract.
