When I got to my room, I had another shower but the problem now is how am I going to look hot as she has requested. I shook that off my mind and reached for a jean trousers and a designer T-shirt. I wore the dresses and applied my strong fragrant perfume.
As I stood in front of the mirror admiring my outfit, the thought of my family believe crossed my mind. As i swas battling with the thought, my phone rang and it was Bimbo's call. I picked the call with a smile.
Me: Hello! I have been calling you since u left, but your number hasn't been reachable
(I used that as an excuse for not calling her since she left.)
Bimbo: Network problem, I guess
Me: How was your journey?
Bimbo: It was cool. And how is it over there
Me: cool as well. So, why were you summoned?
Bimbo: Mum is sick and it is very critical.
Me: What's the nature?
Bimbo: Wole said it is cancer, but I haven't met her yet?
Me: Why?
Bimbo: She was asleep when we got to the hospital so the doctor didn't want us to disturb her.
Me: Wish her quick recovery on my behalf.
Bimbo: Thanks dear. I am very grateful.
Me: So, when are you coming back?
Bimbo: I can't say for now, but I should not stay long.
Me: I will miss you.
Bimbo: I am already missing you.
(I smiled to that)
Me: Message me when you are online on WhatsApp. I have to tell you something
Bimbo: Okay. Bye
I replied her and we both hung up.
I reached for a pair of shoes and wore it and sat on my bed waiting for Bisi to knock at my door.
A knock at my door woke me up and I heard Bisi's voice. I had already slept off while waiting for her. I stood up and opened the door for her.
I had to brush my palm over my face to convince myself if it was really Bisi. She was extremely beautiful that night. She wore a blue skimpy gown and a her hair was packed to the back. Even her make up wasn't heavy, yet her beauty was so reflective. It was obvious that I couldn't control my gaze. I stood there watching with my mouth agape. She was indeed looking hot
