Osun 2018 : The Truth Behind The Resignation Of The State Account Gen. Mr Akintayo Kolawole

Osun Accountant General,Akintayo Alaba Kolawole,who has not spent the statutory 35years in service,has resigned his appointment amidst controversies.

Akintayo joined the Civil Service in 1987 as an Accountant Grade II,meaning he has only spent 31 years in service and still has room of four (4) years to explore in the service?What would have warranted his sudden resignation,even when he has not attained the statutory 60 years.So why did he resign his service from Osun State Civil Service?

Of course,the man chose to resign so he would not spend the rest of his life in Ilesha Prisons.

The little integrity left in him made him to reject all overtures to commit grievous sins against his people.He chose to follow the path of honour than to drag his family name into mud.Osun financials are terribly messy and it would take the Grace of God for any accountant exposed to some of these financial dealings  to escape the hammer of the law.

You will recall that,some weeks back,Iyiola Omisore made some disclosures with regard to some financial malfeasance allegedly being perpetrated by the Osun State  Government.Since the revelation,no official rebuttal,at least to my knowledge,has been made by Osun Government.This perhaps is an indication of some veracity in Omisore's claim.

According to Omisore,a 'disingenious scheme was embedded in a fake Contract document titled the
“Award of Contract for Dualization of Ereja Square-Imo-Ilesa-Akure Expressway, Rehabilitation of Ereja Square with spur-Irojo-Ilesa/Akure Expressway, Majestic uplift and Redefinition of Ilesa City Centre and Rehabilitation / Reconstruction of Akoda-Ede-Ara-Ejigbo, Iwo-Osogbo (Testing Ground) Kelebe-Iragbijiroad”
at the sum of #14.4 Billion.

THE Contract was made in the name of Slavaborgu Nigeria Ltd, a bogus company whose office is located in the same premises with Slava Yeditteppe Nig. Ltd ,another bogus entity belonging to Aregbesola’s God fathers in Lagos with joint offices in Victoria Island Lagos.

The office of the Accountant General was immediately directed to issue an (ISPO) (Irrevocable Standing Payment Order) in favour of this bogus company under which arrangement, monies due to Osun State Government from the Federation Account is subjected as first line charge, to monthly deduction at source of #337 million Naira payable to the owners of Slava Borgu Nig Ltd for the next fifteen years....

There are already equally devious plans been perfected by this outgoing administration to sink the state deeper into a morass of debilitating debts, through outright falsification of contract documents in the guise of “Variation” over projects that had not only been completed but already commissioned years back more.
A case in point is the Osogbo Grammar School Buildings Commissioned by President Buhari himself on 25th August 2016. Aregbesolas administration prepared ‘Variation’ paper in the sum of #1 Billion Naira on 20/12/2017 in the name of Slava Yedittepe Nigeria Ltd. The same set of dubious post contract ‘Variations’ were generated over Iwo and Ilesa School projects in the same amount. A third in the series is the Variation of #1 Billion paid to the same Slava Yeditteppe Nig. Ltd again only last December, 2017 from the last tranche of Paris loan refund meant for payment of staff salary and arrears.
Even as we speak, Aregbesolas Government has started preparing post contract ‘Variation reports’ on all projects executed by it for the past eight years....'

The same Slava Yeditepe mentioned by Iyiola Omisore handled the Iwo and Ilesha school projects where scarce Osun resources were mindlessly expended.But that is not really my worry.My worry is that 'another' company  named Slava Bogu was  hurriedly awarded Dualization of Ereja Square-Imo-Ilesha-Akure Expressway project.

The Slava Bogu office address is the same as Slava Yeditepe's 10th Floor,Sapetro Towns,Adeola Odeku,Victoria Island.

Zekeriya Ersin Oktem,who is a Technical Director in Yeditepe,is also the Slava Bogu Technical Director!

Grace Omolori Okoya,who represented Yeditepe MD at the flag-off of  Oba Adesoji Aderemi road,Osogbo,in 2013, is also the Director of Business Development and Strategy in  Slava Bogu.

Slava Bogu claimed to have been registered in Nigeria in 2013,but records available show otherwise.The company is younger than the 2013 she is claiming.

Interestingly too,Slava Bogu listed all the projects Yeditepe did for Osun State as part of her past projects.

Who is Grace Omolori Okoya?

Ask no forward, she is a friend of the Eludoyins,Omoworares,Aderemis.Eludoyin  is the co-owner,alongside Gboyega Oyetola(candidate of the APC), of the Paragon Holdings.

Paragon Holdings,it must be accentuated, surreptitiously acquired  Lagos Secretariat land to build the magnificent edifice, Ikeja City Mall.Yes, Ikeja City Mall belongs to Paragon Holdings owned by Eludoyin and Gboyega Oyetola.

So,if you see some folks working desperately to foist a nerdy candidate on the people of Osun,you should know it is a ploy to cover their tracks....

To every true son and daughter of Osun,irrespective of your political affiliation, this is the time to brace up.I enjoin you to reject a candidate that has been positioned to take it from where they stop.Reject Gboyega Oyetola #Ilerioluwa at the poll so fresh air can come to the state.If Oyetola wins the election,it is going to be difficult to know the true financial state of our dear state.It is going to be #Continuity of wastefulness of our resources.

That all Osun tertiary institutions are on strike,because of non-payment of 34 months salary to workers,is enough impetus to reject the grotesque character that is being bandied around as the best man for the job.

May our efforts never be in vain.
