IYANYA REVEALS THAT DON JAZZY NEVER SIGNED HIM
Artiste celebrity, Iyanya, has come out to clear the issue that he left triple MG to sign with Marvins Records.
He says that it was only an arrangement ahead of the plan for Temple Music. Via a thread of tweets, Iyanya has clarified the topic of his ‘signing’ with Don Jazzy.
The singer stated that he left his former label, Triple MG and signed off his share to his former partner, Ubi Franklin. He further said that contrary to the public opinion that he signed for Mavin Records after leaving Triple MG in 2016, his relationship with the label was rather an affiliation and that no contract was signed.
He revealed in his post that it was the idea of Idris Olorunnimbe, the founder of Temple Company, Temple Music.
After that, Iyanya hailed Don Jazzy for the role he played in the transitioning process.
He gave some hints that he is now in a good creative place to make more music and left a note for his fans to anticipate his next release.
