ROBBED OF A CHILDHOOD
Where are all the children? Where are all the little girls I used to know? Where are the little girls with shy stares and quaint attitudes? Where are the chalk marks on side walks? Why are the girls who once had dolls strapped to there backs now have babies strapped to their backs? We have lost the sound of childhood.
I can feel the squirming of little bodies of children smothered by vulgarity, exposed to pornography, and robbed of a childhood.
Wouldn't it be nice to teach your daughters and little sisters? You should teach the next generation how to avoid the shool of hard knocks. So they don't have to face what you did to know what you know. You know things that can save them from storms, tears and traumas. If you can't save them, you can at least coach them through. After all, you've been there, done that.
Teach them. Speak up and clear. It's urgent that we break the cycle of going through the same pains from generation to generation.
