PRAYER FOR OUR COUNTRY

We need you oh Lord
We can't do this on our own
We have summoned our compatriots ,
But they fail when we need them to arise.
We want to serve you in this precious land
We don't want to this in our memory lane.
We need you to build and mould our crooked ways.
We want to serve in your love and strength
We don't want the labour of our heroes to fade off.
We cry out to you .

O God of creation
Direct our nobles
Guide our leaders
Out of the mental frustration called Democracy
Help our youth to know
The pain behind corruption termed Civilization
In love and honesty to grow
And outgrow the childish behaviour
That has dent our tents
To figure out n erase the odour in our tents
Great lofty height we want to attain
Together to build the wall of Freedom
And pay for our rented tents
Together we build a nation where we grow in peace
And live happy ever after.
