1)  NECOM House

First on our list is The NECOM House.
It is the tallest building in Nigeria and West Africa.
The 32-story building was completed in 1979 and houses the headquarters of NITEL.

The communications spire at the top of the tower serves as a lighthouse beacon for Lagos Harbor. The building is constructed of concrete. It is located in Marina, Lagos and stands at 520ft (160m).

2) Union Bank Building, Lagos

It is the 2nd tallest building in Nigeria with a height of 124 m (407 ft).

The 28-story building serves as the headquarters of the Union Bank of Nigeria.

It is also located in Marina, Lagos.

3) The World Trade Centre (Tower 2)

It is a 25-floor commercial building, standing at 394ft (120m) in the Federal Capital Territory.

4) The World Trade Centre (Tower 1)

It is a 24-floor apartment building, standing at 110 m (361 ft).

5) Ministry of Communication Building, Lagos

It is 109 m (358 ft) tall.

It is a 30 story high rise building.

6) Cocoa House

It is the property of Odu’a Investment Company Limited, Ibadan.

It was formerly known as “Ile Awon Agbe” meaning “House of Farmers” and was commissioned for use in August 1965.

It was once the tallest building in tropical Africa.

7)  Intercontinental Hotel, Lagos

InterContinental Hotels & Resorts has over 180 hotels, located in more than 60 countries across the globe. Their branch situated in Lagos is the 7th tallest building in Nigeria (105m).

The luxurious hotel was completed in 2013 and it has 22 floors.

It is located in Kofo Abayomi Street on Victoria Island.

8) Independence House

The Independence House is also known as the Ministry of Defence building. It was built in 1960.

It is located in Lagos island and has 23 floors.

The building is the first high-rise building in Nigeria and is 338ft (103m) tall.

9) CBN Lagos

The Central Bank of Nigeria building in Lagos was built in 2013 and it has 19 floors.

It is located in the heart of Lagos Central Business district and it is 330ft (100m) tall.

10) Great Nigeria House

The Great Nigeria House has 22 floors and is located on Martins Street in Lagos Island. Currently, the building houses the Mainstreet Bank of Nigeria and a few warehouses. It is about 312ft (95m) tall.
