Osun Poll: PDP Finally Resolved Internal Rangling; Vowed to work Together

Peace has finally returned to OSUN PDP after a reconciliation meeting held yesterday in Abuja, it is important to give all thanks to God Almighty, the Alpha and Omega. It is also important to thank all aspirants and the candidate for allowing peace to reign.

We also salute the efforts of out party leaders like Chief Shuaib Oyedokun, Dr Olu Alabi, Mama Erelu Olusola Obada, Chief Layi Ogunrinade, Chief Ebenezer Babatope Prof Wale Oladipo, AlhaJI Gani Olaoluwa, the State Chairman and his State Working Committee members and many others for their patience, perseverance, dedication and sacrifice for ensuring peace in order to move the party forward.

May you all live long in steering the affairs of our dear state to safe harbour. E o ko wa je pe.

Now that Dr Akin Ogunbiyi's camp has been asked to nominate the deputy governor the following names were listed as the group's preferred choices,
(1) Dr Ayoade Adewopo from Ile-Ife in Osun East Senatorial District)

(2) Prof. Adeolu Durotoye from Osogbo in Osun Central Senatorial District) and
(3) Oluomo Oluwole Oludaisi Aina from Iresi in Osun Central Senatorial district).

These three dedicated, committed, consistent and reliable leaders are all fit, capable and competent for the job but it is better for our party and leaders to consider the one whose choice will earn our party the highest votes during the governorship polls.  Osogbo Osun state capital for these reasons is the most appropriate political space that should produce the next state deputy governor below which I strongly believe will assist and broaden our chances of winning September 22nd governorship election.

1. The voting strength of Osogbo and Olorunda local government areas alone is over 300,000 and this can be delicate for any political party to ignore.
2. The campaign of calumny about the self induced politicization of territorial dispute between Ede and Osogbo that many have been drumming around will be amicably resolved by the PDP administration within the shortest possible time and Osogbo will not allow undue propaganda to affect her votes for PDP because the candidate of the party had an Accord with Osogbo leaders and indigenes before the primary election.
3. Virtually every other political party including ADP, ADC, APC, etc are all looking forward to an Osogbo indigene as their probable deputy, it will be dangerous for PDP if we look elsewhere for such opportunity presented by the present scenario.
