Kano Assembly Impeaches Speaker, Abdullah Ata; Reruns Labor Rurum

The 27 of the 44 lawmakers Kano State, has impeached the Speaker, of the House of Assembly Abdullahi Atta on Monday mornings

A new Speaker, Alhassan Rurum has immediately been sworn in.

Rurum was deputy speaker and prior to that was immediate speaker that resigned last year over bribe allegation.

He was later exculpate by the panel setup to investigation the allegation.
