MIKEL OBI MAY MISS CLASH ARGENTINA DUE TO INJURY

The latest report coming in from Russia suggests that Captain John Mikel Obi may missTuesday’s crucial clash against Argentina.

Mikel injured his wrist in the final  moments of Friday’s game against Iceland and Coach Gernot Rohr noted that a special waiver may be required to allow the Super Eagles captain face Lionel Messi and his team.

“The captain has a fracture of the fourth metal cap of the left hand,” disclosed Gernot Rohr at the pre-match press conference on Monday.

Rohr added that Mikel’s left wrist is in cast and that permission will be taken from the officials to allow him play with it.

The presence of Mikel is quite important and many will hope a solution is found on time.
